Colt M4 marked upper*
USGI sling adapter*
A2 grip*
SDI A2 extended FS (to be perm attached)
Aimpoint M2*
ARMS22 or Larue or ?
KAC M4 RAS
KAC vertical grip
Matech BUIS*
Colt ribbed stock*
Lower will be a AR-15 lower, probably LMT or Stag.
* = already have it
Any comments or suggestions welcome.
You left out BCG, I am ASSuming Colt?
Unless you just want a rock-stock copy of an M-4, there are better choices in rails, stocks, grips, etc. But if that's what you want, drive on.
Working for Crossfire Australia, a military rucksack and load-bearing equipment company. Still doing limited design and development of nylon LBE.
Depends on unit.
M4Guru could give you a better idea
but IIRC the "Army" does not have a specific BIS -- the MATECH is common
Army units may have M4 Handguard and a Detachable Carry Handle - No RAS
USSOC - may have RIS or RAS, may have LMT SOPMOD stock,
The "pictatinny clicker" M68 mount is what I've seen typical on Army units issued them
several recent Army units have also had TA31F ACOG's on TA51 mounts
Agreed. It looks like your allready well on your way to getting what you want. If I'm reading your post right, all you now need is a rail, Aimpoint mount, vert grip and a Flash hider. The exteded A2 seem like it will fill your needs. As for a rail, true the Knights unit is whats issued but if it were me I'd go LaRue. I would also go LaRue for the Aimpoint mount. Think of it as a product improved M4 Are you going for the rock-stock copy? If you are I think you're on the right track.Originally Posted by Diz
