Did you know for a while the epi-center for TB was LA? We had pretty much eradicated it from North America in the 1950's and 60's. Suddenly we get untold amounts of South and Central American's coming in primarily from war torn El Salvador and suddenly we have TB in LA.
Some things like unchecked immigration and well, just digging up some old virus from the perma frost, just shouldn't be allowed to happen.

Oh, don't wind me up about the "vaccines cause autism" crowd or any of the other goatropes in Big Autism Inc... and note for the record this is speaking AS an autistic. I find it curious how they sloganeer about how "it's time to listen" and yet presume to speak for all of us on the spectrum rather than let those of us who can speak for ourselves... oh wait, that would disrupt the narrative and their grifting gravytrain, right back to Pournelle's Iron Law of Bureaucracy.
