War is an extension of politics, is the old saying. I also believe the transverse is correct, politics is war.
Do I think the FPC ruling is victory and we have won? Of course not. Do I think it might be a win in a squad level engagement or even a win of a battle? Yes.
Has the war been won? No
Does it giive us some time . Yes I am less worried about June 1.
Look even if it means it is a get out of jail free card, I know a higher court can over turn it and once again we are all felons.

So true. In WWII terms we haven't won the war or even the Battle of Britain--we HAVE turned back the immediate threat from the Luftwaffe for the night but Hermann Goering's boys will be back far too soon so we need to get patched up, refuel, rearm and get as many new Spitfires in the air to replace weary old Hurricanes as we can.
