That's right, I forgot them saying that!

I noticed the November scores seem slower in the past as well, I guess the cooler weather and bulky clothing. It all matters some!

No external mods other than skateboard tape and sights are allowed in Production division. But thanks for the offer Harlan.

Looks nice. I'll have to find a detailed photo of the standard stippling to compare. I can't seem to remember it at the moment.

Here's a pic from Dan Burwells site, I'm planning on sending him my M&P9 Compact for blasting off the melonite of the slide, barrel, take down levers and slide stop and doing the melt job on the slide. I probably have him stipple the front strap and grip insert and mag extension. And whenever Scott Warren comes out with his night sights for the M&P I'll get them for this compact. Currently I'm using 2 Burwell M&P rear sights on my fullsize M&P9s, one with a stock front sight and one with a Speed Shooters Specialties fiber optic front sight.

Rob, Did SW go to a drop in extractor on these, or are they still a fitted part like on the older 59/69 series?

I do believe they are drop-in. But Brownells isn't selling the extractor, spring or pin. I'll ask Ernest next time I see him. I've heard they are a bitch to get out. I haven't tried removing one yet.

Mark you should come out to the Fredericksburg USPSA matches. The next one is scheduled for March 2007 and runs through Nov 2007, it's always on the first Sunday of the month. It's $20 and always has at least 7 stages (usually 175-200 rounds or more match) 1 stage is always a classifier which is posted to USPSA.com

So you get a lot of shooting for the money. http://www.vamdsection.org/ IMO it's the best USPSA match in VA by far. If you're going to be shooting Production wear at least 4 mags, some stages are upwards of 40 rounds. Come on up (it's a little far for , make M4arc drive ), you can give me a run for my money, I'll be shooting Production probably all next year.
