Bren 2 7.62x39 to 5.56x45 14 Change Kits

Does anyone know if these can be used to convert my 16" Bren 2 to a 14" ? On face value it would seem logical to me it'd just be swapping the barrel out of the kit, but it's been a while since I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. I know I'd have to SBR it and install 922.r compliant parts. I'm just wondering about the mechanics of the thing.

If that's all there is to it, have any of you done this?

I don't know, but I'm interested. My 11" 7.62x39 isn't 100% reliable, even though I have their new gas valve. I love the feel of the rifle, so going with an 11" 5.56x45 just might be the answer.

I do agree with your logic, but I haven't stayed in a Holiday Inn Express in a long time either.
