S&B 5.56 77 gr seems to be the cheapest at $.84 the last I looked.
I have a few hundred to try out someday.
Looks good on paper anyway.

Its mostly shot OK for me, mostly whacking steel F-types and A/Cs, but once per case, I’ve seen single-round 200fps velocity spikes in chrono sessions. Thats significantly higher than M855a1, with a heavier bullet. Makes me wonder how many of these proof loads I’ve missed in 3 cases.
I’m glad you’re liking the RMR 69s. I’ve got a pile of them I need to load up. Once I find a load that works well to 600, I’m done with Hornady’s loaded ammo forever.
Palmetto State Armory is producing their own ammo now under the name AAC. They are producing a 77 smk load. Picked some up for .75/round. Haven’t shot it yet but here’s a link to it as well as a link to a couple of videos on it.
