S&B 5.56 77 gr seems to be the cheapest at $.84 the last I looked.
I have a few hundred to try out someday.
    Looks good on paper anyway.
Other S&B ammo I have tried has been good.

Its mostly shot OK for me, mostly whacking steel F-types and A/Cs, but once per case, I’ve seen single-round 200fps velocity spikes in chrono sessions. Thats significantly higher than M855a1, with a heavier bullet. Makes me wonder how many of these proof loads I’ve missed in 3 cases.

I’m glad you’re liking the RMR 69s. I’ve got a pile of them I need to load up. Once I find a load that works well to 600, I’m done with Hornady’s loaded ammo forever.

Palmetto State Armory is producing their own ammo now under the name AAC. They are producing a 77 smk load. Picked some up for .75/round. Haven’t shot it yet but here’s a link to it as well as a link to a couple of videos on it.

That's sorta what we were seeing. I was spotting for the guy and at 900 it would hit about a mil high, then a mil low the next shot. I can tolerate some squirrel in a blaster round, but that stuff is all over the place.
