I would contact one of the "millers" and see if they have any experience with Rugers. Sounds like your heart is set on the Ruger, so I would ask the guys doing the milling.

Good luck Ron. And yes, my BUIS are visible.

    Yea, that's what I'll do.

    In the meantime I ordered a non-1911 .45 that is optic-ready.

    Thanks.

Late to the party here but I got the chambers RDSM on my ACW. The NHC iOS is appealing to me as well, I like the irons being forward of the dot.

The IOS looks like a similar concept to the Agency Arms AOS system. Springfield put this system on their prodigy line.

I dont have hand on experience with either

    Yes. On a couple Staccatos.
I’ve heard a lot of dissatisfaction with them on the Interweb, but I’ve had no issues. Zero.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

One is for Holosun 508T the other for the 509T (closed emitter).
    Both with Rear Sight.

What caused you to do CHPWS instead of going with DSC or even Staccato for the DPO?
