    Desert Tech Semi autos

I think it is a cool gun and concept, but....

Did they ever get it to run?

I love the concept of converting a 5.56 gun into a 7.62 Nato or 6.5 Creedmoor.

It doesn't matter how cool it is, if it malfunctions all the time.

It appears they did, forgotten weapons or in range did a follow up on them after the failures. They’ve always intrigued me as well but never enough to actually buy.

While it seems like an interesting concept, most people would just rather buy two guns. Colt ultimately discontinued their modular carbine.

I am looking at it for a few countries where it is a pain to get permits and also comes at a cost. So if we can have 1 serial number give us basically 3 different guns, it would be helpful.

I always kind of liked the idea of a large frame bullpup; a full length barrel to take advantage of the capability of .308 or 6.5, but in a compact package. I'd like to see them take off, but unfortunately I won't be guinea pig-ing at Desert Tech pricing.
