    Surefire Micro "AAA" question

Apologize in advance for possible dumb question - can one run standard "AAA" 's in the micros ? Is there a downside if you do ? Thanks.

Yes. Only downside to a "regular" one are the normal downsides to not using a lithium battery.

I wouldn't use an alkaline battery in any flashlight that costs more than $5
If the light is used enough that the battery is changed frequently it's usually not a problem.
Otherwise if they sit it will more than likely go to crap and turn green.

Thanks much for the replies. I did not word my question very well - I meant "standard" lithium as opposed to the rechargeable thing it comes with - they are not very clear about that on the website. I guess the clue is they do mention AAA. Anyway - Thank you.
