The new 5x microprism is also very interesting. Still, it would be better if there were provisions for a top-mounted mini dot.

The 5x MicroPrism is exactly what I've been hoping for. Should be a perfect "We have ACOGs at home".

I have been trying to work out a way to mount a reddot dot above the micro prism. Someone on the other forum mounted their unity tall mount with iron sight tunnel through the mount said it worked but the body of the prism obscured the reddot too much. I have a holoson 530 that might work on the unity mount since it has a higher center line. Also thought about using a 30mm/1" scope mount ring with a reddot upper ring in front of the prism for a heads up reddot option. PRI has a decent rmr top ring and extra high aluminum scope rings that would work.
