New Dan Wesson DWX 9mm pistol

These are currently available in a full size and compact size with optic cut models to follow soon. I think I might give the compact optic cut model a try when it becomes available.

I was intrigued with these when they were announced THREE YEARS AGO.
To finally bring them to market without an OPTICS version available seems a Major FAIL.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

Agree, but we will see optic cut versions in the near future.

    Hope so.
Has features of both CZ and 2011 that should make it a superior firearm.

They probably took a page out of the Glock play book like Glock did on the G43X. First a G43X with no Pic rail or optic cut/ MOS slide for the early adopters, then later G43x's with those features. Then many early adopters sell theirs and buy the newest versions.

My D&W 1911 won my heart, an optics cut compact would be hard to pass on. How much are they going to ask for these little pearls ?

    About $1900 or so MSRP.

Prices on GunBroker are high right now.

Fondled and dry fired one in LGS. Was impressed for the price.

A nice 1911 humped a sexy CZ, and it came out with nice eyes (sights, though I prefer a red optic instead of green), and the trigger is very nice.

Like B.B. said, The Thrill is Gone.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.
