    PSA STG 44 at Shotshow

PSA is making a darn good looking STG 44 chambered in 5.56, 300 Blackout and 7.62x39.

Very interesting. I wonder what they will do about the mags? I honestly would prefer they not ruin the whole point by making them take Pmags. It looks like a standard STG44 mag

HK 93 mags might look close enough for the 5.56 version. Dunno if they work with .300. Ironically, PSA is the only place I’ve ever seen the OG ammo on a shelf.

If I got one, likely would be 7.62x39mm. 5.56mm would be nice, but rather the larger round… and .300 isn’t in my desire to stock.

I’d want to see a review of it before I make the final decision. But guessing the MP40 and Garand are also on the list. I might do a STEN, if it wasn’t too badly redesigned. Maybe a Grease Gun, but if one of those, I’d have to SBR them. Off the top of my head, the BAR would be the only other interest… if not as expensive as the other remake.

Saw a video on TFBTV YouTube and they said it takes at pattern mags, but their mag is made to look retro. Modern muzzle threads too.

There are reproduction Stg44 mags out there. I have heard conflicting info regarding chambering and that 8mm K will be available.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

Yeah if you had to pick a caliber that at least closely resembled the original---and was readily available---I'd go with 7.62x39 no doubt.

Wonder if the Russkies ever chambered a captured one in x39 for testing purposes when they were developing the AK?

They confirmed that it will be chambered in 5.56, 300 BLK, 7.62x39, and 8mm K. See minute mark 1:50 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWt_x22nwjk
