Ok Governor you first. Disarm your security, national guard and police, shrink you state government and then make your demands.

I tried to follow the science but it simply was not there. I then followed the money, thats where i found the science.
All this stuff is at the behest of the current administration.
You won't outvote the corruption.

It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.

When the Covid lockdowns were going on, a few restaurants stayed open. She sent the state police to shut it down and they went in to find all of the local pd and sheriff’s deputies in there eating lunch... Southeastern NM does not like her and she knows it, yet billions of sweet oil dollars pour into Santa Fe from this region.
Throwing half a dozen or more outrageous demands on the table and calling us unreasonable and unwilling to compromise. They're coming after more of the pie that was always ours.
~Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

Quick update...
The safe storage, mag ban, "assault weapon" ban, NFA ban, and 14-day waiting period bills all advanced out of committee on a party line vote. The hearings were mostly a formality with opposing testimony largely ignored (to no one's surprise, really). There were even a couple dem committee members that made statements essentially stating that these weren't going to have any legitimate effect on crime, but they voted to advance them anyway.
And, in typical Dem fashion, all of the bills that proposed actual crime control and criminal justice reform were quickly tabled.
A couple weeks ago, I thought that most of this nonsense would die, but tbh, at this point, I fully expect it to ALL get rammed through and signed into law.
Nobody here is going to comply with any of this, so at least there's that...
