So obviously the intent of all of these "legal configuration" rules was to remove entire classes of semi automatic weapons that the anti gun crowd find scary or objectionable.

Been happening since 1989. And since then we've just been using muzzle brakes rather than flash hiders and so on. The gun crowd is the same group that demonstrated you can convert some semi autos to full auto with nothing more than a shoelace.

There are people who can "bump fire" a stock firearm off their shoulder, and then there are guys like Jerry who shoot so fast he can run a revolver faster than some open bolt SMGs.

At this point those people should have figured out that it would be easier to arrest everyone with weed than it is to disarm every gun owner, and with the passage of each new "prohibition" they create even more gun owners who feel the need to have one because of their stupid laws.

Now that could be a major issue.

Indeed which is why it didnt take off like some 6 years ago when something like this was announced.

The idea is sound but if the mag is locked your really ****ing yourself everytime you use it like we do instead of maybe keeping it as a compliant shtf gun.
