New SIG SAUER P226 XFIVE CLASSIC

I just picked up my new SIG SAUER P226 XFIVE CLASSIC last night. I had been after one of these for a while. I love the feel of this pistol as well as the sweet trigger.

Don't show this to Pappabear. Nice looking pistol for sure.

Beautiful blaster Renegade, is that gun optics ready or is it an iron sight gun? And yes that trigger is next level.

    Very nice Pistol.
I’ve always had an appreciation for the 226. Carried one for a couple years.

It is optics ready. It can accept the SIG ROMEO1PRO, ROMEO2, or anything else that has the same mounting setup.

They started coming out several years ago, at least back to around 2015. They started introducing more of their lineup as SAO the past couple of years. Beretta is doing the same thing with some of their newer pistols.

    That's a sharp looking pistol.
An X5 is about the only other Sig I'm wanting to get. Or an Allround or LDC II which are DA/SA guns.
I modified some Allround grips for my 226 Legion, I like them better than the factory ones.

I believe the X5 came out around 2005 or so and were an imported German (DE) Sig.
Well out of my price range.
Made in the good ol USA now.

Armory Craft has a good line on X5's and parts.

I was in a LGS and they had one in stock. Trigger was nice but a little different than my P226SAO, couldn't figure out why. But boy was this gun hefty, I thought it must be a cream puff to shoot.

Todd, the SAO sigs have been around for a while, and they do a very nice GreyGuns trigger. Even their DA/SA GreyGuns triggers rock, IMHO.

Does this gun accept the regular 226 mags?

New SIG SAUER P226 XFIVE CLASSIC

I’m a sucker for a nice 226, especially with wood grips and those look like real nice wood grips.

I gotta stay out of the lgs for a while as I’m back to building tube amps again.
