Remember when China rammed a US Navy aircraft with one of their fighter jets in INTERNATIONAL airspace, forced it to land in China, held the crew hostage for 11 days and never returned the aircraft?

Oh, we can drop it. We just won’t. Our politicians (general staff included) are bought and paid for by the ChiComs. Debate is going on in another thread about why the US cannot be invaded. Why invade us when they can own us?

Well now. North Korea has nukes but can not reach the US with their missiles. I'm sure they have already asked China to buy some of their balloons.

Heard about it, but was young enough to get it merged in my mind(for years) with the crash that killed Curtis Mathes, Jr..

I believe now they can, but not all the way across CONUS.

We already heard the official excuse why we didn't shoot it down, might land on a house or whatever. It will be out over the Atlantic this afternoon.
What's going to be the new excuse for not splashing it?
