    sight pushers(dovetail sight replacement tools).

So got a new gen 5 and ive seen everything from using a brass punch to a 500$ c clamp.
I also plan on replacing the sights on my gen 4 and im actually wiling to spend for a sight replacement tool.

    Your choice?
something you wish you paid fore?
something you should have got because it was cheap as **** and was worth it?

MGW or truglo (they’re basically the same design).
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

I’ve owned both versions of the MGW, still own and use the ‘Rangemaster’ model, great tools.

dawson precision includes a punch when you purchase sight’s with them. I use cardboard and a vice to make it work without marring the gun or the sight. If you don’t have a vice and are not handy with tools a sight pusher is good but I can’t recommend one I’ve never used any.

I started off with some cheap-ass sight pusher off of amazon. got great reviews, but in my mind, meh. worked okay for slab-sided Glocks.

what really did it, was some pistols nowadays have slanted side profiles, so I tried 2 other brands, each getting more expensive than the previous. unsat performance. Finally, I bit the bullet and got the MGW along with a slew of adapters for all the pistols I owned. It is the quality tool I should've bought from the start, but I just didn't know any better.

I took the old cheaper tools to the range and gave them all to a buddy, wow, did I make him happy. no sense in that shit cluttering up my already tight work, storage spaces.

I like my locally-owned manufacturer. Good tools and good guy. Assuming he's still alive and in business. https://sightpushertool.com/

I use the MGW Sight Pro, not the "cheapest" but great "bang for the buck" with the interchangeable shoes for the different slides. Worth a look & the investment IMO.

I would like to 100% agree with your post, but I've marred the shit out of the sight. I'm not the most gentle of people at times.
