I like the looks of the followers in the ASC's. I have a couple brand new C-products that were in a box. Blame that on my ex-wife. We were burning a bunch of card board in the burn pile. So they will be getting ASC springs and followers!

I jinxed myself. At the range yesterday and tried to insert a fully loaded Ross mag into the well and it would not fit. Look at the mag and the top is visibly bowed out under load. Unloaded it inserted fine. Didn't see any separation on the seams either. Very odd

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.

$1400 for the turd hand guard, and wobbly stock. Geez Colt toss some Magput on there! At least they give you a Magpul rear sight.

I rather have them give me the bare bones handguard and stock so I can modify it to my liking.

With all the piston driven 7.62x39 variants I own that use AK magazines, I fail to see why I would want to run a DI AR using proprietary mags. As dirty as it will be, I would only feed the thing brass cased ammo.

I am still holding out for a FN SCAR H lower that takes AK mags

There is a Geco out there in brass. I am hearing it will not cycle an AR reliably. I haven't tried Belom, it's brass.

I have Geco and am picking up my 7.62x39 Colt today. I can let you know after I have a chance to shoot it.

Here's mine. I know it looks just like the others, but I have to show it off because pictures of guns never get old.

It is funny. Colt stopped offering a 7.62x39 AR15 over 25 years ago. Ever since, people have been wanting Colt to offer them again. Now that the price of 7.62x39 has gone up, they have.
