They’re thin and do wear out. I already have a hole in the crotch of the first pair I got that may have been 10-12 months ago. I think I stuck with one for a while though so that same pair saw all of the heavy use for some time. I need to reach out to them to see if they offer any type or repair/replacement program. I get it if they’re expendable and I’ve been happy with their performance but they are not cheap to be lasting only a year or two with regular active use.

I don't have any G4s, just G3s. With that, here's my thread drift.

    If you know, you know.

Making cravat undies (ball sling) in the field helps.

**** that shit. Smartwool briefs might be the most important thing I pack now.

Smartwools are GTG. Where allowed, the synthetic Hanes X-Temps are also GTG. Not wool, but better than many others.

I’ll keep that one in mind. I wore Ranger panties for a while but at some point, the liner in them started chaffing my groin. Made me feel weak enough to get medboarded since they’re the gold standard in Army undergarments.

Anyways, OP, there’s likely going to be a trade off in hot weather performance vs durability. I’ll get the hot weather pants as soon as I can and at least give you initial impressions if you’re up for waiting, but who knows how long until they get restocked in my size.

I am very much looking forward to your critical review. Thanks much!
