The RINOs and Democrats are truly afraid of.
Why are the RINOs are as scared as the Democrats are? Because now you have an Open Carry amendment going to the House Floor for the bill.
A legislative chamber with a Republican Supermajority. A Republican Supermajority that has campaigned that they're fully supportive the Second Amendment, yet some have been against Open Carry.
Something that Governor DeSantis openly supports. Yes, remember that Governor DeSantis said he fully backs Open Carry.
So, if they kill the amendment or kill the bill, the RINOs look horrible since they can't blame anyone but themselves since Democrats have no power. DeSantis and gun owning voters will come down on them like Zeus' lightning bolts from Mount Olympus if they kill the bill or the amendment.

Due to the poor language and drafting of HB 543, Amendment 891201 could have possibly turned a misdemeanor into a felony. This is all because Legislative Leadership has rushed the clock on purpose to make it hard for anyone to submit a clean amendment and because HB 543 is so convoluted and ill written, that what even appears t be a clean amendment, still can cause issues because HB 543 is poorly drafted. Amendment 891201 was withdrawn to make sure this doesn't happen.

Well, you know we had the same problem in Texas for a while, eventually it all sorted it self out due to good peoples behavior while concealed carrying.
I remember one Woman having a problem because She saw my revolver when I reached up to get something at the grocery store, because I had my Son in the grocery cart that was doubly offensive to her.
The Cops sorted Karen out, but that was like 20 years ago.

We've had Concealed Carry since 1987. That's also when the Open Carry was banned in FL.
