Are T Bonds adjusted for inflation, I don't think so. America had a good run but its over as soon as the Petrodollar goes away.

Probably the most important story happening right now has gotten virtually no attention. So let’s give it attention.

Saudi Arabia and Iran— Sunni & Shiite Muslim— are sworn enemies, yet China just brokered a peace deal between them. China.

    But wait there’s more

Saudi Arabia is talking about settling their oil trades in the Yuan, replacing the dollar. This is in spite of being allied with the US.

    But I’m not done yet.

There is also discussion of Saudi Arabia and Iran joining the BRICS alliance.
    -Brazil
    -Russia
    -India
    -China
    -South Africa

“But Josie what are the consequences of that?”

That would mean all of the major oil producing countries in the world would be part of the same alliance. These countries also make up half of the global population. And I imagine there would be a level of protection safeguarding Iran from American invasion.

Most apparent, there is no need or room for the US in this new boys club. There is no seat at the table of this super alliance.

For those who cannot see the catastrophe The Deep State has made of our country, our values, and our global status, who take our Bill of Rights for granted, spend all the time and resources prosecuting political dissenters, and victimize themselves over sins they never experienced because they have it so damn good they have to sit there and make up ways to self exploit — I just don’t think there is any saving these people.

I live in a not too rural Texas Town, but at an hour away, Austin keeps creeping down towards us.
    I would vote Real Estate.
I live in what once was a 40 acre cattle pen, 40 years ago. Very much, perhaps over improved. Nice houses, Gated Community, Ten minutes from Groceries to Surgery. Everyone cutting their grass and BBQ'ing, a very chill way of life.
All hell broke lose in Austin property values.
Now the 180K house next door has a 300K asking price.
As a retired guy, how can I pay taxes and how ITF can my kid buy a house?

Welcome to what Hawaii residents have experienced forever. The plus for you is Austin real estate is starting to crash. Sellers are reducing prices and this is just the beginning. The last crash took a couple years to get to it's bottom.

If the market gets any kind of wipeout/reset nothing on paper will matter. As long as you have some compromise of physical assets you're not totally screwed. That's why I invest in community.

That is exactly why I unassed out of South Florida. The house I bought back in the 90s for $150k was in the $300s but my property taxes went from $1,200 a year to almost $8,000. The county saddled so much shit to property taxes, including free day care, I was getting choked out.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

The House next door sold new at 140K he is selling for 300K +.
I'm pretty sure they will eventually get it, which will drive my taxes even higher.
Looks like everyone will want to live here.

Well, I may become an Expat if this doesn't change.
    Edit to add;
My Son is in his Twenties and a pretty smart guy, he's finishing his MBA this year. He was telling me the way things are going, Home Ownership will be off of the table for most Americans in Five Years.
    I can see that.
I bought here to be close to the schools, I mean you can walk from my house to K-12th grade; go get a bike and ride two miles to College.
I've got a Major "Classy" grocery store, a WalMart a Medical Clinic, My Bank, Two major Drug stores, a Theatre and four fast food places all within walking distance.

Dude, I'm totally serious this was fifty acres of BAD pasture land twenty years ago.
I'm in awe, this land pack then likely went for 60K.
