I have 5 Trijicon rds. Since 2015 I've shot 5 to 7k rounds per year and NEVER had an issue with the screws coming loose.

They were all milled by ATEi and they use larger screws (than the supplied screws), I torque to their (ATEi) recommend 12 inch pounds then use a paint pen to mark the screw head location.

Did you use a thread locker?

If not, you must be some kind of spell-casting wizard or powerfull holy-man.

A secret demon semen sauce perhaps?

    Could be!

How would a person summon such a demon? Or do they just sell the "sauce"?

I use Loctite 243 (it's blue too) for medium strength thread locker on optics (& other stuff). 243 is oil resistant. Haven't encountered problems with it loosening. I still try to clean/degrease the threads, but probably miss a little oil sometimes.

    "Normal" blue Loctite is 242.

No thread locker, the slide is just set up correctly.
If bosses are milled into the slide, the sight has no place to move so it doesn't get loose.

My first slide done is still my edc (8 years this year), I change the batteries once per year and put new screws in each year.

If you got the genetic one size fits all slide (optics ready), that is why the screws come loose as there is room for the sight to move.

This on everything that doesn't need Red.

I've had zero luck with VC-3, but Loctite 243 has never failed me.

Medium on RDS screws and Glock Front Sights. Just a normal drop, not slathered all over.

I like vibratite as well, usually use that on scope rings after letting it get tacky but I haven't used it on RDS pistol optics.

Marking the screws is a must IMO as well, I usually have a line of them pointing at each other so it's easy to see if one has come loose, etc.

I think the C&H ring of paint + witness mark seems like a good idea.
