Probably 20 years ago I had a late 20s very attractive blonde neighbor. She had two little kids. Her day job was a paralegal at a law firm (yes, legit).

One day I went to a fairly upscale club and a minute or two after I sat down I noticed a blond stripper way across the room was laughing uncontrollably while looking directly at me. I didn't recognize her at first and I wondered why she was laughing. She got up and took the long walk across the floor to me. As she walked closer I was thinking, "she looks like my neighbor", then I though "she looks really like my neighbor". It was her, we had a good laugh, she said it's to supplement her income. I got a few dance from her and we kept our little secret. LOL.
I hope she was able to get out of that job in morally compromised situation with those low life scum and concentrate on her stripping…
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Anyone else remember "Debbie Does Donuts" just across I-25 from Ft Collins? Topless with donuts and coffee, ugh!

Easy now I resemble that statement. One thing you never hear a KY boy say, hey that skirt is too short. BBN

To answer the OP question, "Why do strip clubs run specials?". Well the answer is simple enough, to put more asses in seats. I worked as a bouncer a lot when I was younger. Including a few strip clubs. So I can tell you that like any such business it's first and foremost about the door count. If a lunch special gets some guys to overcome that last little bit of hesitation and hit the club for lunch then "boom", lunch special it is. Specials, special events, whatever are to bump the count at slower times/days.

Sure, "Live Nude Girls" seems like all the draw one should need but there are always "off peak" times. Empty seats don't tip, so dancers hate em. How girls get scheduled and paid (or pay the house) varies a bit from place to place but girls don't wanna show if they ain't gonna pull in the money. So if the bar is too slow the owner may end up with "No Nude Girls". Hot nights or times equal no specials. Same as pretty much any bar.

Like the Hair Club for Men guy, "I'm also a client". Or at least used to be. Not so much anymore. Over the years I've spent a lot of time in strip joints. I've picked up quite a bit of knowledge about the biz, but not enough to want to run one. I've dated or been friends with dancers. My first, short duration, wife was a dancer. Yeah, young LCpl., I am the stereotype. The shame! She was a good gal, just didn't work out. Didn't even take me to the cleaners.

Bouncing at the shaker bars was a good time. Hell bouncing most places was fun, even the biker bar.

Even better, she married a rich lawyer that was able to take care of her and her kids. She sold the house and moved in with the lawyer. I hated that day she moved. LOL

When I lived in Florida, there was a rental property next door that was a constant problem. One time three strippers moved in and I thought my dreams had been answered. What I learned is young girls who work clubs that blast music for 8 hours a shift have dramatic hearing loss so on the nights they aren't working they are sitting on the front porch drinking and being loud as f because they have no idea what a "it's 2am voice should sound like."

A house full of young females is also a constant source of aggression to the point that twice one of them ending up knocking on my door around midnight asking if I could call the police because they were afraid. I wasn't a big enough ahole to tell them to go wake up somebody who cares but I wasn't excited about being the "stable and helpful" neighbor when suddenly the party house got angry.

There was no shortage of dirtbag undesirables that young females living on their own seem to gravitate towards and between incidents of seeing them piss on the side of their house like it's some kind of back alley to having to explain property lines to them it was a constant pain. And nothing will make a twenty something dirtbag more unreasonable than when he's trying to show out in front of the stripper he's trying to impress with his badassnes.

Then there was the time one of them thought she was gonna solve the neighbor problem by offering me a taste. I told her that I really wasn't into sex with condoms BUT there is no way I'd ever **** somebody like her raw so she might as well take it home. It generally didn't improve anything, I was glad when the moved to another house. Lots of drama and a house full of shit magnets.

During the time they were there, I think 18 months, they got broken into and robbed twice. After the first time when they came over to ask me if I happened to have any security camera footage I just told them "perhaps if they didn't keep wads of stripper cash on hand and constantly associate with scumbags they might not have this problem."
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

There are two things you should never trust. Bears and strippers.

This is the last ~2 years of my life. Not strippers, but hos with the same issues.

The benefit has been lots of MUC, situational awareness, and revisions to the home safety plan.

My ex neighbor was nothing like that. If I hadn't walked into that strip club (upscale) that day and ran into her, I wouldn't have known. She was a model neighbor and caring mom. I guess that qualified her as a MILF

When I was stationed at Ft. Bragg in 93-97, there was a club on Bragg Boulevard, it was either the House of Dolls or the Dollhouse (not sure which they were both on Bragg Boulevard) but they had the best lunch buffet in town at the time. And you know Joe's we all went right inside in BDUs and had lunch. They were always packed back then.
