The Strike Eagle looks like garbage compared to the PST imo.
Very helpful thread, thanks for the good info. I was thinking of diving into a Strike Eagle but am checking out the other options now.
I would go Razor if not for price, its just too high for me. I have been told by a very credible source that the razor 1-6 is the best.
Have you looked at the Viper PST 1-6x? Its a really good optic for the money, I'm sure that others out there can point you in a direction on certain one's as I'm not totally up to date with everything on the LPVO market as it just continues to expand at an alarming rate,. but the Viper seems like a really great optic especially when you can find them for sub-$600
Dr. Carter G. Woodson, “History shows that it does not matter who is in power or what revolutionary forces take over the government, those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they had in the beginning.”
I have a PST 1-6 but no SE to compare it to. SE to Razor is a big step in cost.

I have owned the strike eagle, PST II, and razor II. would save up and go with the PST or Razor series. No issues with the Razor and it had great glass. The PST I purchased new had the illumination broken out of the box. Vortex made right by it and sent me a replacement.
If you are set on the Vortex LPVO market, I would hold out for the razor.
On paper maybe. Lighter and better reticle imo, bonus it’s cheaper. Would I choose it over a Razor, me personally I did because I prefer the reticle over the pst/razor. I was shooting a series that was a mix of bay stages and distance, found the strike eagle reticle to be more intuitive and faster. But it’s not garbage comparatively, aside from field of view/1x, I didn’t realize a difference or find any limitations.
