I'm old enough to have been alive and living in the South when some KKK losers threw a bomb in to a Church and it killed 4 little girls in the basement having Bible study.
I think there was 100 times more outrage then over that, than I've seen here over this.

That works in a world where criminals and mental defectives are actually locked up. Unfortunately we don't live in that world.

The choice/decision to let the violent run amok and the violent acts that result will not be ameliorated by .gov getting to act out it's anti 2A plans in placing limitations on firearms and will, in fact, make things worse due to making it more likely the victim will be unarmed.

Was/Were may have been a little nuts, but not to the point of picking a harder target for the 1st segment of letting out the crazy. It appears this easy target was created via school policy or etiquette/stigma and Was/Were chose going inside to take full advantage of that instead of waiting for everyone arriving/departing(as is the more frequent choice) when there would be more targets in the open, but would also have opened up Was/Were to a parent or Jim Bob driving down the street stopping the fun in 14 seconds instead of 14 minutes.

Totally eliminating firearms would still have mildly off, violent, and running around loose Was/Were with access to automobiles, fire, knives, glass, clubs, evil intent, and initiating the attack.
