    Agreed. I've never seen a broken extractor personally... even on less than top quality guns. Not that I take any part of the BCG for granted.

    Yes this, or may not be in spec. No disparagement of BCM was intended.

    Fwiw, I had the grasping lip (or claw) break off of one a few months ago. An Anderson (cough, cough, imagine that) with only about 5000 rounds on it.....

    why does the title have an apostrophe?

    most* BCG kits have a usable extractor. Might have to order with bolt gas rings and extractor springs...

    I've seen plenty of broken extractors, but of course it involved truck loads of corporate or govt ammo

    It's probably the same reason that your sentence does not start with a capital letter. To my chagrin, people don't seem to be concerned with grammar when posting on discussion forums.

    BKings has billet extractors for 9.95.

    Surplusammo.com has individual extractors also.
