    LPVO sales gonna blow up?

Due to the recent police camera footage out of Nashville I can see people that have been sitting on the fence on optic choices may have been convinced to drop the coin to improve their rifles. or am I just full of it.

Probably. I have an lpvo on my rifle and I love it but I have issues with weak arm transitions. Getting my eye in the eye box perfectly right away is hard. However, I don’t practice with My rifle and I mostly shoot it benched. I am a high level idpa shooter and feel more comfortable with a pistol. So take my opinion lightly.

Vortex Razor in a 2nd gen Scalarworks mount. I noticed the Radian Raptor, too.

That is what 1x is for, changes pretty fast with elevated, diagonal shot across a gymnasium.

Some LPVOs have a very wide FOV and generous eye box. I'm faster through the shoot house with my LPVO than I am a red dot because I can swing and see coming onto the target sooner.
Seems like common sense to keep it on 1x when inside. I can hit a torso target at 300yd on 1x, the only time I dial it up past 1x is when it's a hostage type target past 100yds.

    Amen! So fukking dumb!

LGBTQPVOs are still silly for most. An inside shoot is hardly the application for these things. Now if they smoked this butt plug from 150+ with an LGBTQPVO and got it on film, every booger eater on the internut would be ordering one.

I have been switching to LPVOs as the reticle looks sharper due to my astigmatisms.....plus I don't like magnifiers.

I completely disagree. The entire appeal to an lpvo is they allow 1x for the purposes we saw in shooting but also allow for magnification for extended range if need be. What’s the issue with that?

I dont think thats the right conclusion to take from this, looking at the whole situation, remember the shooter was engaging squad cars from the 2nd story window of the chapel where only a small portion of the body would have been visible from the outside from where when she got dropped, perfectly within the sweetspot of usage with an LPVO. Just so happens that the LPVO armed officer entered the backside of the school to do an entry and engage at 1x just shows how versatile the LPVO is for situations like this. If he arrived from front side and started taking fire from the 2nd story window the magnification would have allowed him to take out the shooter through the window.
