    I can hear the prosecution's argument now. "Once you got control of the gun he ceased to be a treat, removing the justification for the use of force."

    Except the actual victim had already been shot twice and was probably pretty leaky.

    But hey if the prosecutor volunteers to be shot twice and then suggests that once disarmed I'm no longer a credible threat to him, I'm willing to put that to the test.
    It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
