I have been playing with a 3.8 in. Compact .45 with an optic. (OEM mount) Approaching 1k rounds.
Other than my reloads being too long at first, the gun has worked fine. Accuracy good. The optic came loose but I resecured it with thoroughly clean threads and Loctite blue and that's still holding.
OAL of cartridges needs to be kept under 1.21 in. (1.20 is min IIRC) I've been using LFN and LHP bullets and mixed brass. CCI LPP. Feed ramp area gets gummy w/lead but it still feeds.
It could use a little more grip texture and the grip be a half-inch longer. And of course cowitness irons would be nice. (And can be done, but then it wouldn't fit my holster)
Plus P Underwood JHP has also ran perfectly.
Anyone else have an XDM? .45? 10 mm?
