i think pre ban Bushmaster (question)

did the preban Bushmasters with the 20 inch target barrel , but still has an A2 FSB come with bayo lug , Sn L18x,xxx

Some of this is foggy, L prefix, I think under 51000 and you are safe for "pre ban" There was a lot of questions regarding those over the 51 mark and whether or not they were rifles or receivers the the ban went into effect.

It turns out to be a ban Era late mid to late 90's Bushmaster DCM XM15-E2s with the 20 inch target , A2 upper , counterweight butt stock, according to a ATF , the sn range and prefix placed it a LAR lower before BFI started making their own lowers

I've been looking for a pre ban for some time , just havnt tripped over one yet , the condition of this ban Era was awsome , so I put it on layaway

You are correct , allot of contradicting info , mine is not threaded , absent bayo lug , when I get my greasy fingers on it I will right bushmaster and see if they respond
