    Got a Perun X16

The Perun X-16 feels super light. I’ll try to get some range time in and update. It’s an interesting addition.

Please elaborate. I've never even heard of this rifle.

I saw your MCX on arfcom. Nice collection.

You have just about everything I’m considering, how do you compare the Perun to the others? Especially the MCX legacy.

Thx. I need to get some time behind them. The MCX arrived earlier this week too. Just on initial impressions the MCX is impressive for the cost ($1,155 shipped for this one). It’s light, well balanced, the ergonomics are good and the fit and finish seems great.

On paper at 7.7-7.8 lbs depending in stock it definitely seems like it would be heavier than the legacy or the 7.3 lbs of the Bren 2 carbine.

How does it feel compared to the JAKL?

I'm not the OP, but it appears to be a BRN-180 with modded G36 handguard.

Yep. They run hot and need covers so I mod a G36 hand guard and slide it on.
