New clean burning coal plants or the answer
Hanford processed weapons grade plutonium. That’s completely different than fuel grade uranium, which is pretty low level.

Doesn't matter, Jane Fonda made a movie, then there was an event and everyone thinks it was exactly like chernobyl.

It is ironic that the environmentalist cult has stood athwart nuclear power, the only actual path to "green" energy, at every turn.
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”

Not the first word I might have chosen.

You're not wrong. The Left's big tent will get a whole lot smaller when they have full and unquestioned control of the reins of power.
It's f*****g great, putting holes in people, all the time, and it just puts 'em down mate, they drop like sacks of s**t when they go down with this.

On our side, if anything, they will be wildly over built for safety. The real issue to me is dealing with the waste. What most don't realize is you can recycle and re used the waste over and over. The Japanese already do it. We don't as it's not considered cost effective, but would be if tech developed like most things. Even die hard tree hugger types are figuring this one out
The Russian way of doing nuke for energy is different than ours, cutting corners aside. Something about using water instead of graphite to mitigate meltdowns, rods this and fission that. Summary, the way they do it indeed cuts out several safety-related steps, some see them as redundant and more expensive.

My bro-in-law is an electrical engineer but understands the nuke side of the house, spent most of his career working for Duke Energy. He is a HUGE proponent of nuclear energy.

They are certainly going out of their way to price people out of the energy market aren't they?
I'm expecting about the time the North East Freezes through some hard Winters something will be forced to be changed.

Don't be surprised when the energy grid is attacked and the administration blames the Russians in order to garner support to go to war.
    You won't outvote the corruption.
