Simply YHM Phantom QD Flash Hider Question

I guess I could email them and ask, but does anyone know the length of the YHM Phantom QD FH? I would have it P/W on my LMT SPM 14 with a 14.5" barrel.

Using a cheap ruler, my yhm qd with the scalloped edge comes in at 2 5/8”.

Yeah. The Phantom definitely gets you over the 16" minimum.

The Phantom is a poor choice for pinning if you are going to use it hard. They are prone to erosion.

Another option, Adams Arms Manimal. Lighter, and you can still remove a 0.750 FSB should you need to.

It will be a QD suppressor mount Phantom, not the simple FH. The carbine currently has a non-mount AAC Blackout pinned and welded. I am not married to a YHM suppressor at this point but I would like to keep the cost below the stratosphere for the can + multiple QD mounts in both 1/2x28 and 5/8x24.

The excessive erosion I’ve seen was happening inside a silencer.

I know the newer YHM mounts are thicker but I don’t know if they updated the material. It did not handle the heat as well as the material most mounts are made of.
