Also remember that bullet ogive dimensions vary by manufacturer and must be matched to your barrel, so seating depth will most likely vary a bit.

That's the first loading lesson I learned with 45 ACP. Loaded ammo that wouldn't quite chamber due to following the exact dial caliper dimensions. Shit.. for 9mm and 45, I just eyeball OAL or match it to a factory load with my eye. Then chamber check it if there's any doubt.
