Not off the top of my head, sorry. This is the problem with a lifetime spent hoovering up every shred of raw information you can about everything you can... a lot of sources and traceability get lost along the way, especially at the "three decades after" mark.

Unfortunately with the moves, and some of the way being scrambled by my grandmother's senile dememtia randomly moving things or giving things away that weren't hers to give in her last years, I don't even have a log of everything that's entered and left my library over the decades to start retracing from.

The Civil War was more about States rights than the single issue of slavery. Lincoln made it about slavery. The more I read about him, the less I like him.

Don’t believe me? Read some Jefferson Davis quotes. Also, why was he never tried for “Treason?” - Don’t want judicial precedent for secession now do we?

These days I truly wonder which side I would have fought on and if the just side prevailed.

Maybe that’s simply a bit of the Rebel in me rising to the surface…….
I’m right there with you on the rebel side. Lincoln isn’t the hero we were told he was. But I’m about freedom and support people’s right to govern themselves. Lincoln, Wilson, fdr are all traitors and had a huge impact on the beginnings of the end of the republic.

While I don’t agree much with the political stance of the PIRA/IRA or their tactics, I whole heartedly support their right to a free Northern Ireland.
