    Colt AR6520s Are Shipping

Backordered AR6520s have all arrived. These are Canadian/Diemaco guns, nearly identical to the Hartford guns bought earlier this year. Example gun herein representative of all received.

No external packaging. No markings on package other than shipping label. No customary green/blue/white label. Package includes a rifle, Colt accessory pack with cleaning hardware, two 20rd mags with black polymer follower, manual.

    Working back to front:

Standard four-position M4 buttstocks. Mil dim receiver extension. These receiver extensions have a step-down about one inch from the receiver extension nut, and no exposed threads. Photo with LE6920 for comparison. Good staking of receiver end-plate and extension nut. “H” buffers, correct weight.

Lower receivers unremarkable, “Colt Defense…Hartford Conn…Made in Canada”. Serial numbers LLC00####. Markings on right side for LE/Gov/Mil/Export use. .250 take-down and pivot pins, .170 fire control group. Selector is extended style.

Upper receivers unremarkable. No forge markings, one with a detached “A”. No “4” or “M4” marking on front of carry handle. Extended M4 feedramps cut post-anodizing. Correct in all regards.

Bolt carrier group is M16, with full tang and FP shroud. Bolt carrier bears Diemaco stylized “D” on left side. Solid carrier key staking. M16 firing pin. Correct carbine extractor spring assembly, current production gold spring. Bolt marked “MPD” over “J3817”.

Barrel is correct AR6520 barrel, flash hider timed correctly. Barrel bears markings, “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7”. Chrome bore and chamber.

For the “fit and finish” types: Some mismatched color between upper and lower, carrier key and bolt carrier, and selector and lower.

Carbines pass all pertinent gauges and meet specs.

Update 11/23: All pass live fire. Approximate zero within 6+/- clicks windage and elevation of mechanical.

    Picking mine up on Friday!

I have a Colt 6920 upper for it already.....

Are you're M4 feed ramps left in the white or are they annodized?

Well, I couldn't wait....just picked mine up tonight.

It's a Blue Lable, US rifle.

    Serial # is LGC038XXX

I've already put the 6920 upper on it, color matches perfectly.

I decided to get the rifle instead of replacing the busted camera........

Pics will have to wait. Looks just like Skintop's just without the "Made in Canada".....

Actually it looks like a 6920 now that I put that upper on it.....

I wonder what the stepdown in the buffer tube is for? I saw the same thing on a S&W or a Olympic, I cant remember wich one last week at a gunshow. It was a new dealer gun. I remember it because I wondered what the heck it was for. Wow made in Canada. For years every part had to have a C on it and now I just cant get used to a D.
