I don’t think it’s SG.. it’s just what ammo prices are. I haven’t purchased anything other than carry ammo since Jan 2021. The prices have come down, but are still nuts to me. I guess this is “the new normal”Originally Posted by hotbiggun42

Some places are charging $60-$80 to ship a case of .223/5.56. That blows my mind.

I havent priced shopped every item but one place has PMC 115g pinking ammo for $215 a case Sgammo is $260.

Ammoseek.com is your friend. You need to filter by shipping costs in order to get rid of the assholes trying to sucker people with a low ammo price, but who then tack on exorbitant shipping. Sellers are also rated by Ammoseek users, pay attention to the ratings. Lastly, most sellers charge sales tax, but not all.
I've been using sgammo for years. In fact I have a low 3 digit order number from them, from shortly after they got started. Stopped buying from them shortly after the election and covid panics started. Their prices were really not all that competitive any more.
