    Glock 43x Dead Trigger

I have a new 43x with two hundred rounds fired through it thus far. I'm getting a loaded round with a dead trigger about halfway through a magazine (both stock and shield arms) pretty often. Does anyone have any ideas on what would cause this and how to fix it?

I just got the 43x to have something a little easier to conceal than my 19 I usually carry. It doesn't make as much difference in a t shirt as I had hoped. I don't enjoy shooting it like I do my 19 either, so it's just a tool. I'm going to trade it in if I can't make it reliable.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Wish I could help. I’d call Glock.

I thought about calling Glock but I wonder if they'd blame it on the shield magazines and magazine catch. That would have been my first thought as well, but it started with a stock pistol and is increasing in frequency the more I shoot it.

What generation SA mags? Just curious…

Put it back to stock and see what happens. If the problem persists, call Glock. They’ll make it right.

Does the trigger bar rub against either magazine? How do you tell? Remove the slide assembly from the frame, insert a magazine (preferably empty, but you can't fire a round without the slide anyway), see if the trigger bar rubs against either side of the mags.

Could it be that the trigger spring is broken, damage or mangled in some way? How do you tell? Look at it.

Here is a decent video how the 43 works.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

Did you perform a $.25 trigger job, or is the only internal change the magazine release swap?

They're the most recent ones. I just received them Friday. Gen 3 I think? I threw the bags away.

Thank you. I'll watch the video. Trigger bar? Springs? What are those? Well, I'm not that bad, but I don't work on carry guns myself. I know I should be able to though.

Everything is stock except the mag release. I had our sheriff's department armorer change it for me.
