    It would be interesting to see the trend over time. I would bet you go back a few years and 300blk held a bunch more market than that. I am assuming this is search/sales volume. Not sure how they track actual sales unless they have affiliate deals set up. So most likely this is a percentage of overall searches performed on their site.

    Short, suppressed and subsonic it does very well. It’s no replacement for 5.56, it’s a niche, but fills it nicely. It would be hard to fill the same niche better. The fact it uses so many existing parts is also very convenient.

    Can't get a suppressor.

    If I get subsonic 300 - and wore hearing protection - would that be good enough to enjoy this upper?

    How would THAT compare to a 10.5 inch 5.56?

    300BLK supers in an 8" barrel are less blasty than a 10.5" 556.

    300BLK subs compared to a 10.5" 5.56 aren't even a comparison. It's basically a 9mm with a longer barrel.

    That is huge news to me!

    I'm interested even if the ammo costs a fortune!
