i bought poly techs for that ,actually thats about what i paid for my 86S in '89 , but current prices on thumbhole Maks are between $1200 - $1500 , i was toying with the idea of a bayo folder

My LGS had crates of them in his shop in 1992 priced at $159...they even had the underfolder holes stamped in the receivers along with the thumbhole stocks. I was a broke 21 y.o. newlywed, so I only bought one...no one had any idea what they would become (they were "junk Chinese" AK's at the time). Went back a couple of weeks later and he had them marked down to $139 (along with crates of SKS's for $89 and 1k round cases of Norinco 7.62 for $79). If only I had a time machine...

That ship sailed in 2008 when all AKs went north of $1,500.

I cant ever find a Arsenal SA-93. What can they be had for?

bulgies have always commanded top dollar ,even the ban eras , i havnt seen one in a very long time , i would guess if Maks are $1200 , then they would be the $1500 range maybe more given todays insane prices

If you can get a Mak 90 for $1200...BUY IT.

Current production Arsenals are selling for $1,900 - 2,200. Out of production variants will sell for much higher.
