It's not what was said per se, but who said it. It's that scientist of his stature and position to talk about the topic openly that way is more extraordinary than you appreciate or realize. There's (finally!) been a major paradigm shift when someone like him is now part of a project like that and it's not a career ender for him to do so.

But he didn't say anything of consequence.

He said they found a interstellar meteor that is of harder material than any of the other 272 interstellar meteors they have cataloged. That is certainly interesting as far as meteors go but that's it. It's a meteor. He isn't the one speculating it could be some kind of craft. But he is the one who said "there are no scientific details in this report."

That's not accurate and misses the larger point, but we are getting into the circular part of these discussions, so I will add no more on that one. Per usual, this will either lead to something or it will not. It could be legit, total BS, or gubment level psy ops, and we are at conjecture levels until we know more. It seems to me the ability of the gubment to keep what is really known dam of secrecy is about to burst, but that may be wishful thinking on my part.

Got dang, things are getting real. That's quite a bold statement for anyone at that level to make. Something unheard of not long ago. UFO's are officially mainstream. To what end I don't know, but it seems we are watching big history in the making. I do think the gubment will, knowing denial no longer an option, and assuming (likley accurate) a good % of people will freak out, will dribble out the info over for some time in hopes it allows people to absorb it. We also know they will hold back plenty of info as that's always the nature of gubment.
