Now that is weird. They need to set up two cameras so they can gauge how far away these objects are from the parallax. They almost look like bugs or some small debris flying up close to the camera, but it's hard to tell. I've seen some strange phenomenon in the sky myself before, but even with my own eyes it was hard to tell if it was very far away and moving very fast, or closer and not moving so fast.

They need to get a sense of size and distance as you say. Being they appear at predictable time and place, they should be able to do that as well as get better vid etc.
