    XF223SP

I bought a few boxes of XF223SP when shooter45 posted it in the GOOD DEALS thread. I have them in hand now. How can I find out what it is?

I would pull a bullet or 2, and post some pics.

TBBC bullets will typically have a "T" stamped on the base of the bullet.

Speer GD bullets have a unique base on them.

I don't have a bullet puller. Is there a safe way to do it without one?

What are you looking to find out? Your link sends you to a box of ammo with all the specs. I guess I'm missing the point of the question.

I guess I would like to know if it is Gold Dot, TBBC, or something else. I also wondered if anyone had more information in general on this run, such as if it is "duty grade" or seconds.

Gonna need to see projectile, sans case, to have any chance of making determination as to which bullet it may be.
If you reload, stick loaded rd. in shell plate under an empty Die station, run Ram all the way up, grab bullet with pliers and lower Ram so pliers use shell plate as leverage to pull bullet.

    An inertia puller is cheap.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
