So can you direct mount this to say a Glock MOS with no adapter plate? Regardless, I'm not sold on the mounting screw arrangement and I'm definitely not sold on the MSRP. I won't be an early adopter because I want to see what if any systemic issues may arise.

Nope, you'd need a MOS adapter plate for the RMR footprint.

Should mount directly to that new Springfield Glock though with their new direct mounting slide.

Email from Eurooptic lists it and the new RMR at $645 if you preorder.

That puts it too tall for my tastes, and it's not gonna fit many holsters on the market unless it's hanging out the front.

    Yeah, still not attractive.

    Yeah, still not attractive.
I think as long as these are easier to come by than Acros, then street price will come down. Especially after a little time goes by, which is perfectly fine since there’s always chances of bugs; like the Acro P1’s battery life issues.

These will never be as cheap as Holosuns.

I got a chuckle out of that!

Unless it's a Nightforce, your sight shouldn't cost more than the gun.

This is good for the market. More options, and hopefully prices will drop. I'm interested in the RCR, and am almost interested enough to pre-order one.

Nah, the ACRO mounting footprint and cut are strait up superior to everything else out there. Super solid, don’t require a ton of milling, and are narrow enough to make it possible to mill more slides directly.

All the other manufacturers are just stubbornly sticking with inferior solutions.

Can't argue with that. I think there should be 2 mounting standards: the ACRO type rail mount, and the Shield RMS for smaller pistols. The only area that the ACRO mount needs improvement is in height over bore, necessitating overly tall BUIS. The bolt-on RMS footprint is fine for smaller EDC type pistols, as they are unlikely to actually need the robustness of the rail mount.
