    But Gemtech didn't make it the carrier, Bootleg did, Gemtech just slapped their logo on it. I find it difficult to believe that Bootleg would go through the trouble of making a Gemtech specific set of tolerances for the carrier, nor have I heard of anyone else complaining about the Gemtech not fitting typically.

    You could be right. I honestly don't know what they did regarding stuff they subcontracted out to other manufacturers. I just remember some past fit / function issues (late 90s, early 00s) where people complained, was common on suppressors made for HKs that didn't always work with clones.

    I’m under the impression that the Gemtech and Bootleg carriers are of different designs, even if Bootleg made both (which I didn’t know).
