    V7 has a fairly light stainless steel barrel, especially if you get the fluted version, 20.3 oz with a gas block.
    Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

    BCM 14.5 Light weight, have both CHF and non with a 0.625 gas block journal
    DD 14.5 Light weight, CHF with a 0.75 gas block journal
    Noveske 14.5 Light Afgan, have both CHF and Stainless with a 0.625 gas block journal
    Centurion Arms 14.5 light weight, CHF with 0.75 gas block journal
    Criterion Core 14.5 0.625 gas bock journal
    Criterion Light Weight 14.5 with a 0.75 gas block journal
    BA has hanson profile
    Faxon has skinny profiles
    spikes tactical optimum chf 14.5 is the same contour as the Centurion arms light weight.

    I have the Noveske light Afghan barrel. It's light and accurate but over gassed. With a LMT enhanced bolt carrier, BCM extended stock tube [it's their A5 copy], Giessele super 42 rifle spring and A3 buffer I've managed to get the ejection to roughly 3:00. I have a BRT gas tube waiting to be installed.
    I also have a BA black stainless 16" mid, not a lightweight but it too is over gassed and waiting for a BRT gass tube.
