It's not Nigeria. It's Niger. So the people are called Nigeriens. (I had to Google it as I had no idea what they were called, only that they weren't "Nigerians", as that is what people from Nigeria are called.

OK, I'll admit it. I had no idea there were two neighboring countries of Niger and Nigeria. I have of course heard of them both but somehow assumed it was the same place. I even know more than a little about west Africa and that one still got past me.

If ever they went to war with each other, most of the world would be so confused.

We need not get involved. The last time we tried to retake a French colony half way around the world it cost the USA 58,000 military personnel.
