I can't predict what will happen but I can see what is happening in front of my face.

    Country is divided 50/50
Justice is no longer blind if you believe the wrong things
Gov agencies are weaponized against half the country
Political opponents are unfairly persecuted, real 3rd World shit
    We are being invaded
    Energy sector is under attack
    Dollar is under attack
Pretty much commies have taken control of the US and we are in the middle of a cultural revolution

Unless the commies in charge back off and relinquish power peacefully which I don't see happening then I've got news for you, you might not be interested in civil war but civil war is interested in you. Choice is coming, kneel to the State or resist.

I don't believe we will have another Blue/Gray army vs army civil war more likely something like the Yugoslav Wars. Of course a peaceful divorce could avert this but I don't see the left allowing this, they really want to kill us.

I haven't seen anyone advocating it in this particular thread. I think it is more of a sense of dread of what may be unavoidable, consequences be damned and not determined by the currently reluctant parties. Can this ship be turned around before the breakdown? I sure as hell hope so, as the prospect of living in a Third World fiefdom is not pleasing. Just be cognizant of the fact that the current trajectory isn't wished for or determined by most sensible people, yet it may be an unfortunate reality. Hopefully not though.

Better dead than Red, or better Red than dead? I sincerely wish for us to never have to make that choice.

This is the part that puzzles me, nobody wants it yet some keep pushing, instead of being satisfied with how things are.
I mentioned to some friends recently, it seems some in our country can't be happy with their piece of the pie in present day America, they'd rather destroy everything in an attempt to be a warlord of some third world shithole.

We tend to be divided by Emotion vs Logic.
Emotion means "My way is the only way". Logic means "We can look at this and compromise." Emotion means "By any means necassary" Logic say's "I will remain on the ethical High Ground."
That is a summary of my understanding of Poltics.
Even the logical will come to understand there can be no more compromise and we've lost our Ethical High Ground to fools and thieves. I don't at this point expect Armies to take to the field, but I do expect Terrorism if the Left begins to lose.

[first bold] The political definition of conservative is to leave things alone, status quo. I would reluctantly agree with that in some sort of political "truce "......The Great Compromise of 2027? But we all know the Left's agenda isn't being conservative with things as they are, their goal is to be progressive (a term I despise using because it makes them sound like the good guys and anyone else is re-gressive). The idea is continuous forward motion with their fvcked-up, demented agenda. They won't stop until it's just how they want it. "Compromise" with them is akin to Chamberlain waving a piece of paper.

[second bold] I assume you mean the Left as well as a lesser amount of conservatives, right? In fact I believe the Left to be the ones wanting it most by ramming their agenda down our throats. "Don't like it you MAGA POS? Well we have 'top men' with guns and authority who can make you like it".

I don't want a CW, I want America circa 2019 back, unfortunately I believe CW is more likely.

I meant the progressives, Soros, the WEF nutjob Schwab and whoever is pulling FJB's strings.

They all seem to be the ones pushing for change.
Or they're funding those that are insisting on change.

Who exactly would be the belligerents? Before it was a matter of slavery and very clear geographical boundaries. And before spouts off about "states rights"...states rights to do what, and why does the word slavery appear 39 times in the "The Declaration of Causes of Seceding States"?

Further what's the strategy for breaking up the corporatocracy and banking cartels that actually run the country and owns all 50 states. Or is it, shoot people that dont agree with me, go back to grilling and buying F150's?

I didn't see too many protests in red states when corporations sent Americans to Iraq for really bad reasons and get 4400 military killed in combat. Now they are ready to fight a civil war? I think not.

Want something to fantasize about? Think Tyler Durden, not Jefferson Davis. And the target better be a conglomerate multinational before it's the dude that picks fruit for a dollar an hour.

There is a difference between a theoretical or introspective question for discussion and a "fantasy".

Yet nearly every time someone comes in with incel comments, etc.

This is not something most want, and our comments above clearly indicate that. That does not mean there is not a risk.

Just a recent example the Mayor of Dallas decided he was no longer a Democrat. He didn't suddenly change his viewpoint, the Democrats changed theirs.
And oh the crying going on by Democrats in Dallas.
