    T1 mount + diopter sights

I'm starting my build (Noveske with VIS)and I'm kicking around different sight set ups.
If I went with the Centurion diopter style, along with a T1, the correct Larue mount would be the HK style. I assume that when they say "will not work for standard M4 styles" they are talking about the HK mount with standard BUIS.
    Am I correct on this?
Cant decide if I want the diopter sights, Troy flip ups, or Larue.

    Thank you.

The Centurion sights for ARs are the correct AR height to be the same height over bore as stardard AR sights when mounted on a standard AR upper/rail.

The LT HK micro mount is for the HK416 which has a rail that is already higher from the bore than a standard rail.

If you use the Centurion AR sights (or any of the usual suspects, Troy, LMT, LT...) on a standard AR upper (including the VIS) get the LT Tall mount for proper lower 1/3 cowitness.

If you somehow got ahold of genuine HK416 Diopter sights, they would be slightly lower (intended to mount on a higher rail) and require the HK mount to line up right. The whole thing might be lower than desireable for your eye/cheek weld though.

My guess is that you'd need LT HK416 mount for T1.

I have a set of Centurion sights and they are slightly lower than standard AR sights. When paired with Aimpoint M4s mounted in standard (tall) LaRue mount, Centurion sights are barely visible (lower 1/5 cowitness). I don't have LT mount for T1, but looking at pictures, I assume that T1 in tall mount will be at the same optical axis height as M4s in tall mount. Frankly, I am afraid you might not be able to see the sights through T1/tall LaRue as the lens diameter is smaller.

I don't know if my set of Centurions is different from others, but they are not exactly height of standard AR sights. I run my Centurions behind Aimpoint M4s in QRP2 mount and it works perfectly, with 1/3 cowitness, while standard AR sights give 1/2 cowitness with this set-up.

Let us know how it'll work out for you.

Hmmm well that is confusing. I'd certainly defer to YVK since he is actually running a set of these.

I was going off of the description on Centurion's site that says
...The new sights are designed to the correct ergonomic height for the standard AR-15/M4 flat top receivers for the proper feel and rapid sight acquisition.
    ...
Both front and rear sights are also compatible with any standard AR-15/M4 sights, including any standard height back up iron sights or the detachable carry handle rear sights. This offers the shooter maximum sight options....

Just get an LMT fixed front and LT fixed rear

I'm bumping an OLD thread here, but I'm interested in the OP's original question. I'm building a rifle and I'm playing with the idea of using Centurion diopter sights. However, I would also like to add an Aimpoint in the future (most likely a Micro T1) so I need to know if there's a mount for it that would put it at the proper height for 1/3 cowitness with the Centurion diopter sights.

So just to be clear, what you're saying is that when using the Centurian Arms diopter sights the you'll get a lower 1/3 co-witness with Aimpoint M4s on the standard thumbscrew mount? Just need to know because I'm considering running this set-up on my next build. Thanks.
